The Golden Rule is a basic principle which should always be followed to ensure success in general or in a particular activity. It is a biblically based rule found in Matthew 7:12 “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”
The fact that this rule, this command as it was initially delivered has been around for so long, at least 2000 years, must have some precedence and there must at the very least be an element of truth. And indeed the Golden Rule does have an element of truth; it has in fact a great deal of truth and truth that can be documented.
But the Golden Rule having been around for so long and lived by so many demonstrates one thing very clearly. The fact the Golden Rule offers something not just here today and gone tomorrow but something that, like God Himself is the same today, yesterday and forever, offers long term security and comfort. Doing to or for others as you would wish to have done to or for yourself indicates a person applying the Golden Rule truly expects, not demands but expects, some form of return in the future. This optimistic view the Golden Rule automatically creates also creates something of much more value than just a return.
The optimist outlook created by applying the Golden Rule provides a level of comfort or even assurance in what tomorrow may bring, in a sense it creates long term security. Just like Jesus Promised in the Gospels the long term certainty that God will be with in good times and bad and will never leave you so the Golden Rule creates more than just a certainty but a very real and very rewarding certainty. Applying the Golden Rule with biblical meaning and applying it to honour the Lord enhances the long term security in a person. Doing good will never go unnoticed by God and the bible is littered with verses that confirm this about giving.
Give and you will receive is a common way of thinking and it does get results. Give as you would have others give to you creates improved results. Apply the Golden Rule and give as you would have others give to you and then do it to honour God without demanding or wanting a return and the results for a person or group of people or even a company. When maintained Giving with a view to honour God creates an unbreakable cycle of reward, and the reward is far more than money. 2 Corinthians 9:6 says “Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” And Matthew 16:27 says “For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and WILL THEN REPAY EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS.” The real rewards are heavenly.
What greater long term reward can there be than eternity in Heaven sat by the Father who gave you life and the son who died so that you may have eternal life?
A heart of giving and a giving mentality are a vital part of applying and living by the Golden Rule. Never expect or demand a return because sometimes it may take a while for it to appear but the long term security promised biblically and always demonstrated with the Golden Rule makes life so much richer. In that giving nature the giving of pure Gold or other precious metals can be given to others.
Gold and precious metals have for centuries been considered long term security. Gold for most people is not something bought today and then traded tomorrow. Gold and other precious metals are not something that the average man on the street will trade as they might currencies or stocks. Gold therefore is held for the long term and becomes something the person receiving will treasure. Do people buy engagement rings made out of plastic or cardboard? No, a ring is made of Gold or another precious metal as it is meant to express love for a long term relationship with the person it is being given to. A ring is not bought for the value of the Gold or the diamond but because the ring has a value that goes far beyond a monetary value. Likewise giving Gold or another precious metal to anyone, not just a future wife, has more than a monetary value and suggest a long term view on the person it is given to.
The Noble Mint are purveyors of Fractional Gold Bullion and other precious metal products. The Gold and other precious metal gifts and solutions all offer a long term value or long term security. The products are by far the easiest way to really and very practically apply the Golden Rule in your personal or business life. With a Fractional Gold Bullion product from the Noble Mint you are giving someone something that it is assured you would like and even expect others to give to you.
The return on Gold or other precious metal given to someone is a long term and very positive return. The return may not necessarily reflect the monetary value of what has been given but will be something that is rewarding in life. Just the very fact that something as valuable as pure Gold has been given because you apply and live by the Golden rule creates that feeling of something good, well done, and something warm and fuzzy inside.
Biblically applying the Golden Rule is not just a suggestion but should be a way of life. Try applying it for a week, do something for others that you would expect them to do for you but don’t expect or demand something in return. Do it because it is right, do it because God commanded as in 2 Corinthians 9:7 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” And see how your life changes for the better.
